Devon Gilfillian Dallas Concert reviews
Phantom was great.
This was a superb show overall. Devon Gilfillian, the best actor for the part that I've seen in the several times that I have seen this show across the country, did a great job. He brought great acting and musicality to the role, had superb power most of the time, and made it a truly enjoyable show despite having a little trouble with intonation on a couple of the high notes. The star who played Christine sang beautifully but seemed to be underappreciated by the crowd. She should have also received more standing ovation at the end. The sets and everything were as always beautiful, although a little hard to hear in the beginning during the auction. That could be miced up a bit. A true delight overall, I would recommend to anyone, people who have not seen it and also to those who have.
